Certificates of Analysis (COA)

A Certificate of Analysis (COA) is a document provided by a manufacturer or supplier that details the quality and purity of a peptide. It confirms that the product meets predefined specifications and standards through laboratory testing. A COA is critical to verify their quality for research or clinical use.

Quality Verified

All certificates undergo rigorous laboratory testing and verification processes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Certificates of Analysis

What is a Certificate of Analysis (COA) and why is it important?

The purity percentage indicates how much of the product is the actual target compound versus impurities or byproducts. For research peptides, a purity of 95% or higher is generally considered excellent, while 90-95% is good. Higher purity typically means better consistency and reliability in research applications.

Common testing methods include High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) for purity analysis, Mass Spectrometry (MS) for molecular weight confirmation, and various other analytical techniques depending on the compound. Each method provides specific data about different aspects of the product’s quality.

COAs are typically generated for each batch of product manufactured. They remain valid for the specific batch they represent and don’t expire, but newer batches will have updated COAs. We update our COAs as often as possible
